GDC Play Booth 310

If any of you will be attending GDC this year, feel free to come by Booth PL310 in the GDC Play area to test out XING on either Oculus or on the PC. We'll be right next to the Business and Career Centers Wednesday March 19th-Friday March 21st.

We'd love to hear from you guys and see your faces!

Also, we have a few surprises in store for the people who come to our booth ;)

On another note, check out this cool banner that I made, which ended up being too large of a file size to use ><

  1. While I like the slow pacing, whomever set the speed on that minecart needs to tie it in someway to realism. Either adding a motor on the back slowing/pushing the cart or some robotic device doing the work. Just something anything to take your mind off the carts actual movements.

Watching this in the rift you REALLY see where you should speed up and slowdown but the actual pacing is erratic with speedups uphill and no momentum of any sort. Pretty, yet I find this scenes pace is too distracting with its unrealistic behavior.

I know this is Alpha footage so its possible this is just a stepping stone or the player itself is actually controlling the speed. I just hope my feedback is of some use.

It really does have great art though, this scene looks the best for a coaster type so far. Looking forward to seeing more in the future!
