XING Finally Hits PlayStation 4 in Six Days
XING: The Land Beyond will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR in JUST 6 DAYS on February 12th 2019 on the PlayStation Store!
There will also be a release week discount for PlayStation Plus Members ;)
*Note, our Europe Release Date will be February 13th, not the 12th. Or maybe later. I don't know...but now I understand why Europe seems to usually have different release times! #redtape
Agnirok
(Feel free to share these photos and gifs)
Agnirok is a combination of our Short Stories and Main Levels, and includes a new puzzle mechanic! It follows the story of Rila, a young captain trying her best to be a good leader.
It's not all just rocks and lava! ;) |
It's been a long road to get to this point, and we are so excited to be able to share the game with PlayStation gamers.
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR
Would you cross this bridge?
ICE
Ice Scape
This is the short story of Toklo, a teenage boy with a fiery spirit, growing up in this frigid landscape.
This is also a combination level, somewhere between our Short Stories and Main Levels, and features a brand new story along with a complex puzzle (for those who want the extra challenge).
With these 2 new spirit stories added to the game, the spirit count now numbers at 14 characters with 14 tales!
This Ice Scape will be a free DLC for all owners of the game, and will be included with any new purchases of the game from here on.
Everyone cross your fingers and hope we do well enough on PlayStation 4 to continue making games at White Lotus Interactive! <3
Yay! I’ve been waiting for this since way back when I checked out your GDC booth. Congratulations! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratilation! I wish you financial success with the PSVR release. You definitely deserve that for all the hard work you put into this beautiful game.
ReplyDeleteThis game looks amazing! Cant wait to play it. Thx
ReplyDelete😀😀😀😉😉👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
ReplyDeletePicked up Xing yesterday on PS4. Gotta say, even on the OG ps4 + PSVR, this game is stunning. It is beyond peaceful, and I am having a wonderful time with it. Well done, and thank you for the hard work needed to bring this to console players--I read your blog post about the development cycle for this port and you deserve a lot of credit for what you've done here.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to what you have in store down the road, you've secured a customer in me for some time.
Graphics of the game is impressive.
ReplyDeleteThis is very amazing game, I am waiting for play it.
ReplyDeleteWe are LOVING this game. Looked into it because it got a good review on adventuregamers.com, but would probably have skipped it otherwise. That's because we tend to say, "Oh, it's for VR" whenever we see on Steam that a game has VR support (and we don't have a VR rig, and probably never will). My wife and I play these things together, and that just doesn't work with VR.
ReplyDeleteReading your blog, I see you've struggled to get past this issue. That is, you are trying hard to make sure us non-VR gamers know Xing is a good non-VR game. It is! It's great! Thta leaves me wondering if VR is a good choice for indies at this time. The rigs are expensive and there a lot of us who have good game computers, but no VR rig. I would expect the reaction we have ("Oh, it's for VR, so forget it.") is pretty common. Makes me thing that either VR is not a good choice yet from a marketing perspective, or else devs need to have distinct "VR" and "non-VR" versions of their games.
Only about three hours into Xing at this point, but loving it all the way, and loving it flat on a screen the two of us can see at the same time. Hope it catches on.
